Spring Break: Day 10

The last day of our spring break ended with so much fun.  Easter Sunday!!  Since it was Easter and General Conference, we woke up to Easter Baskets and Cinnamon Rolls.  The kids loved their Easter Baskets and played with them all day long.  We munched on Cinnamon Rolls all day long too.  We enjoyed Conference and each other.  By the end of the day we were ready for Easter dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Olson's.   They all got plenty of eggs.  Such a sweet day.

Spring Break: Day 9

With all the businesses that Ray has going this particular one paid off today.  He brought home his bucket truck from Alloway Electric.  The kids had a blast going up and down in the bucket truck out in the culdesac.  They went up as high as the bucket truck would go.  It was so fun to see their reactions.  Then it was off to one of Parker's baseball games.  So glad the season has started.  I love baseball.  He played so great and is starting to look like an athlete.

Spring Break: Day 8

Can't believe that the week is coming to an end.  We have yet to feel warmth from the sun.  It has been cold and rainy all day.  Oh well, we headed out anyway.   Carlee has been accepted into a new program at a different school, so her new teacher was kind enough to meet with us today even though it was still Spring Break.  She wanted and we wanted Carlee to feel comfortable on her first day at her new school.  She will be going Collister Elementary.  It will be 100 years old in 2012.  It is a great old school.  I love all the old nostalgic feel when you enter.  It will be great and Carlee is very excited.  She even has her own computer.  We appreciate Mrs. Scott meeting with us.

Laney jumped into the picture just as I clicked.

The girls and I headed of to lunch while Parker headed out to play with a friend.  The girls and I went to Red Robin.  Laney had chicken strips, Carlee had breaded zucchini and I had a salad. After our lunch, Carlee likes to go to used book stores.  We found close to our house and stopped by though they weren't as cheap as the DI.

We haven't seen Parker all day though we have talked to him.  He went to Costco for a hotdog lunch then off to the ice skating rink.  He said he fell about 80 times.  Parker and his friend Tucker took turns pushing each down.  They called a truths, but they still continued to fall.  He is as Tucker's house for videos games and dinner.  Soon they will be off to a movie.  He has had a fun day.  We miss him.

Spring Break: Day 7

So another day of snow and cold weather though we made something of it.  We had planned a hike or a bike ride, but instead we went to the Barnes and Nobel to buy a book and then to Winco for bulk candy.  We did however have a great surprise.  Mike, Teresa, Jordan, Zac and Katie came over.  The kids love to get together and just play.  They all had a great time.  All in all it turned out to be great day.
